Hillcroft College
Hillcroft is the only college for women within the adult residential sector in the UK. It exists to help women change their lives through learning and is open to women aged 19 or over. There are no entrance qualifications and grants are available to cover costs for most students. A special feature is additional support to enable women who have previously struggled in education to achieve success.
Students can attend the college on a full-time or part time basis. The college offers programmes of study leading on to University. There are also courses for women seeking to find work or return to the job market after a break or boost skills and gain management qualifications. Freeman College, Sheffield

Ruskin Mill Educational Trust (RMET) has opened a new specialist college, together with a range of additional facilities, in Sheffield. The new college is called Freeman College and will be offering places to young people aged between 16 and 25 who are unable to attend general further education college due to learning difficulties associated with developmental delay. .
