Domestic Abuse - Help in Rotherham
Rotherham Women's Refuge
Rotherham Women's Refuge will provide safe and supportive, temporary accommodation to women, and women and their children escaping violence. We have a range of properties available, including communal and self contained. A number of the units have disability access.
We have an all female staff team, who are available:
Monday to Friday 8.00am - 8.00pm
weekends 8.00am until 2.00pm
An out of hours emergency call out service is available outside of staffed hours
We can also offer an outreach service to women, and women and their children who do not require refuge accommodation but still want support and for those settling in the Rotherham area. There is an option of telephone support if this is preferred or when the service is full.
Our dedicated Children and Young People's Service provides confidential support to children and young people who mothers/carers are already supported by the accommodation or outreach service.
We believe women and children's experiences of violence and abuse - no evidence is needed.
